Indigo Bay

The water
The lagoon is sheltered and flat every day. It stays free of the sargassum. You get clear water without the seasonal seaweed.
The resort across the road
The Placencia, a Hyatt resort, is a short walk away. Its pool, beach, spa, over-the-water restaurant, and marina are all there. You use them when you want, with none of the overhead of living in a resort.
The peninsula
Placencia has restaurants, shops, medical facilities, and airport access. Diving on the barrier reef, snorkeling on the cayes, and fishing are all close. Rainforest, waterfalls, cave tubing, ziplining, and chocolate tours are about 30 minutes inland, near the world’s largest jaguar preserve. The bioluminescent lagoon is nearby.
How owners use it
Live here full-time or seasonally. Rent it when you are away. Or do both. The villa is furnished and ready, and the community has professional management. You can run guest operations yourself or hand them off.
